Job description
Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Conference & Banqueting Manager.
Help lead the day to day running of our Conference & Banqueting areas.
Supervise the team on shift, including opening and closing procedures and ensuring staff work flexibly across the service to meet business needs.
Ensure standards are in line with the expectations of a high-end 4* offering.
Ensure the delivery of exceptional experiences for our customers.
Support the Conference & Banqueting Manager to ensure all Health & Safety, hygiene standards, people development and licensing requirements are maintained at all times.
What we’re looking for:
To successfully fill this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviours, skills, and values.
Previous experience in Conference & Banqueting, with a strong knowledge of seating and table plans.
Excellent communication skills with a passion for food and guest service.
A sound knowledge of good and beverage, to offer the required service and ability to develop the rest of the team.
Methodical approach to work and demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude.
Excellent customer service skills with a flexible approach to duties.
Smart standards of personal presentation.
Personality and warmth to host and inspire confidence in product and service.
A passion for training with the ability to manage and motivate a team to ensure excellence.
Previous supervisory/team leader experience.
